The Kiln Works is a development in Limehouse, E1 offering 43 Private Sale homes and 11 Shared Ownership homes, ranging from 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments.
The apartments feature magnificent floor-to-ceiling windows, contemporary styling and a balcony or terrace, providing private outdoor space.
We were asked to create the branding for the development, including strategy, messaging, colour palette, brochure design, press advert design and 48-sheet design.
After careful consideration and research into the local area, we created two concepts of bespoke branding. The first option was developed from looking into the people that shaped Limehouse’s rich industrial history, how they changed with the times, and to showcase that Limehouse is now shaping up for something new.
The second option also had a historical thread, delving into the diverse beginnings where people arrived, strived and thrived – a sense of being Bohemian.
The client loved aspects from both concepts, so we merged them together to produce the current branding – shaped by the past, made for the future.
Once the branding was finalised, we created the brochures for each tenure, with a dominant colour used to differentiate them – dark green for Private Sale and mustard for Shared Ownership. Each also had their own print specification.
The Private Sale brochure was printed on a textured stock with a side-sewn spine, and the Shared Ownership brochure was printed on an uncoated cover to show off the bright colour.
We then adapted the branding to introduce The Skyline Collection at The Kiln Works, which are the apartments on the 6th and 7th floors with impressive views over London – a sanctuary from the city below. We produced emails, iPad adverts and mobile adverts.
