Working with Optivo from the outset we wanted to give them and their prospective buyers in Brighton the complete, all encompassing customer experience on site at Home X.
This begun with the edgy, bright and ‘loud’ interior design of the Sales Environment, all designed both in line with the development’s branding and persona profiling work meaning we could attribute our interior design to data driven profiling targeted at potential buyers in Brighton and beyond.
Using strong, vibrant pops of colour alongside industrial and raw materials and finishes we created a fusion of bold yet simple features to best take advantage of the space we had to work with.
Removing the traditional ‘Sales desks’ we designed a more informal approach to engaging with customers, whom we knew were a more transient, younger target market with seating booths and relaxed seating spaces.
Lighting contributed a huge part to the finished design with the prominent ceiling hanging ‘X’ light feature, neon signs and illuminated joinery items around the space.
In order to promote and be inclusive to the local area we designed a space for local social enterprise, whether that be a local artist or food and beverage vendor. Crittal glazing ensured this space was still part of the overall space but could be separated for flexibility also.

“Right from the off, we knew we were in safe hands when we saw Focus’ proposal. Not only did it look incredible, capturing everything Home X stands for, but their understanding of how each space should work was unrivalled.” – Rich Login, Director of Sales & Marketing
