As an Account Executive within our Creative – Client Services department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of client projects. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with the designated Account Manager, playing a pivotal role in delivering exceptional client service.

You will be instrumental in the day-to-day operations of advertising campaigns, encompassing both online and offline channels. This involves meticulous planning, coordinating resources, and closely monitoring progress to ensure all deliverables are met promptly and within budget.

You will act as a bridge between clients and our creative team. By engaging in insightful discussions with clients, you’ll be tasked with translating their needs into clear, actionable briefs. This entails not only articulating client expectations but also conducting any necessary research and providing additional resources to the studio when required.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of advertising campaigns, both offline and online, for designated clients
  • Maintain and oversee marketing schedules, ensuring timely execution of tasks
  • Act as a liaison between clients and the creative team, translating client needs into clear and precise written briefs, and facilitating seamless project flow
  • Conduct any appropriate research required for the written briefs prior to submitting the brief to the creative team
  • Oversee projects at every stage of development. This includes processing amendments, ensuring tasks are allocated appropriately, and coordinating with the Production/Creative teams to guarantee tasks are completed accurately and on schedule, carried out accordingly using co-efficient
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure projects are completed within established timelines and budgets
  • Respond promptly and effectively to client's requests
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships alongside the Account Manager
  • Provide regular updates on campaign performance, analysis, and results to both the Account Manager and clients
  • Work may involve occasional unsocial hours including early starts and late finishes to meet deadlines
  • Ensure the consistent use of Synergist, ensuring every project has accurate job numbers, estimates, purchase orders, and invoices
  • Manage all invoicing for designated clients
  • Maintain and update Synergist with accurate and current information, including client details
  • Follow server file management protocols in alignment with company procedures, maintaining a systematic approach to data organisation
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold good housekeeping practices, including diligent file archiving and client detail updates
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and instructions at all times, upholding the highest standards of professional conduct
  • Perform any other duties reasonably required in alignment with primary responsibilities, contributing to the overall success of the team

Person specification

  • A Degree, preferably in advertising, marketing, communications, business management, or a relevant Diploma is desirable
  • Previous experience working for a Marketing Agency is advantageous
  • Prior involvement in client management within a service-oriented organisation
  • Familiarity with interacting with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in invoicing and quoting processes
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong proofreading and grammatical proficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Solid planning and organisational capabilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • An understanding of GDPR and relevant legislation
  • Genuine interest in marketing
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines to satisfy client needs
