As a New Business Executive at Focus Agency Group, you will play a crucial role in implementing our new business strategy

under the guidance of the Group New Business Director. You will be at the forefront of promoting and

advocating the diverse range of services, offerings, and products that define our brand. The primary emphasis

will be on expanding our client base across the dynamic landscape of the North of England, with a strategic

focus on our operations in the bustling hub of Manchester.

 

This role requires effective time management, proactive client engagement, and collaboration with team

members to ensure the delivery of exceptional services. You will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing

our client relationships, providing professional and efficient responses to queries, and contributing to the

overall success of the group.

Job responsibilities

  • Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media channels.
  • Set up and attend meetings, both in person and virtually, alongside the Group New Business Director to understand client needs and wants.
  • Promote the business regularly, emphasising group offerings and specific products through various channels, including social media.
  • Visit new developments in and around, but not limited to, the Manchester area to provide valuable insights to our clients.
  • Attend events/exhibitions, report back to the Group New Business Director, and follow up on conversations.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance overall knowledge of business offerings and improve service delivery when promoting the group.
  • Provide regular reports to the Group New Business Director and the business as required.
  • Conduct internal meetings to relay client requirements to the business.
  • Keep administration systems up-to-date and prioritise good housekeeping practices. This includes archiving old files and maintaining accurate client details.
  • You will be expected to carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties.

Person specification

  • A degree in Business or Marketing is beneficial, though not essential
  • Previous experience of client facing, supporting clients directly in a service-provision organisation.
  • Sales experience with a track record of meeting targets.
  • Desirable experience in an agency/team environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, including job number creation, invoicing, and quoting processes.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage time for tasks across multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong planning and organisational abilities.
