Overview

Our team worked with Hill to refresh an existing show home at Chesterford Meadows. We were asked to uplift their view unit to a full show home with colour, wallpapers, upgraded furniture where required and styling throughout to create a more memorable experience for customers. Our exclusive relationship with John Lewis allows us to bring in graphics throughout the home to allow customers to shop the look for those elements available from John Lewis.

The Brief

We were briefed by Hill to uplift their existing show home to appeal to developed families and downsizers looking to live close to Cambridge with picturesque countryside views. We needed to work with some of the current furniture, but bring a more homely approach to the rooms by adding personality to appeal to the target audience. By introducing QR codes around the home, we were able to offer a more interactive show home for customers to shop the look whilst they view the home.

The Execution

Our design team pulled inspiration from the local surroundings and countryside views to create a concept of ‘Soho House meets Cambridgeshire’ offering a natural and botanical style to the home. We introduced floral elements through cushions, wallpapers and artworks, as well as bringing strong pops of colour through paintwork and accessories. We incorporated elements from John Lewis which allows customers to shop the look, and purchase from their local store. New furniture to the primary bedroom allowed for a more sophisticated and luxurious space, incorporating rich woods with muted sage and warm orange accents. The remaining bedrooms took a more contemporary approach with olive green and rich blue tones, drawing inspiration from the outdoors and bringing a premium feel to the home.
